Therapeutic Breathwork

Yasmin Nguyen is the founder of Wavekind, a breath and body-led therapy which combines tools from breathwork, reiki, talk therapy, mindfulness, and creative arts to help people unwind tension, release emotional weight and outdated patterns, and connect to their body and inner guidance. She has worked with people of all ages, from 18 to 82 years old, and through a diversity of circumstances including anxiety and depression, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, divorce, bereavement, near death experiences, and more.

She has studied multiple styles of breathwork and complementary modalities with experts including Patricia Udipti (Rebirthing Breathwork and Somatic Experiencing), Daniel Hugo Miceli (Biodynamic Breathwork Trauma Release), Christina Dohr (Trauma-informed Embodiment), Melanie Irene Giles (Reiki), and Yaniv Rose (Internal Family Systems). She is also a Visiting Practitioner at Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and COMO Shambala, two of the world’s leading centres for holistic health and wellbeing. She also has a BA in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford, and an MA in China Studies from Peking University, where she studied the anthropology of trauma.

While breathwork forms the central part of her sessions, she weaves in other modalities where needed. She has a special interest in anxiety, the embodiment of trauma, intergenerational trauma, relationships, and guiding people who are mind-led into a fully embodied state.

Yasmin is available by reservation. Sessions are 90 minutes long and she charges £165. Concessions are available.
