Daniel Davies

Integrative Psychotherapy

Daniel is experienced in working with the full array of presenting problems and life situations that lead clients to seek therapy, including relationships, anxiety-stress, bereavement, loss, identity, sexuality, depression, trauma, abuse, addiction and compulsion-related issues. He has worked in homeless-health and refugee services, supporting clients from widely diverse backgrounds and differing experiences of life throughout his career to date. He has particular professional interest in trauma-recovery, survivorhood, inclusion and neurodiversity.

Daniel works with clients in a warm, supportive, and naturally engaging way. He seeks to help them draw out from the here-and-now of the working relationship the connections and meanings they are looking for to make sense of their circumstances and experience. Daniel trained at Regent’s University, graduating with a diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling in 2008, subsequently gaining an MA in 2012. He has 13 years’ experience working as a therapist, practicing in a variety of settings including university/student services, addictions treatment centres and in NHS Primary Care. Presently, he works as a senior NHS psychotherapist alongside his private practice here at Bodywise. Having trained integratively, he is equally conversant in psychodynamic, existential, relational and humanistic approaches to the work.

Daniel practises at Bodywise on Friday afternoons, and charges £55 to £70, as discussed. Concessions available.
