One Space Acupuncture offers effective, affordable acupuncture for the local community.
This is achieved by practicing in a group setting. Initial appointments take place in a private consultation room and subsequent treatments are in a spacious pleasant room where couches are separated by screens to ensure privacy. Treatments in a group setting do not only have the advantage of keeping down the cost - patients report they like the aspect of togetherness as it creates a sense of connectedness within the community.
We offer body acupuncture and ear acupuncture.
There is no need to fully undress for either.

Acupuncture s a system of healing which has been practised with great effect for thousands of years. Our health is dependent on the smooth, uninterrupted flow of subtle energy that runs through inter-connecting channels in the body. The flow of energy can be disturbed by stress, anxiety, poor nutrition, infections or trauma. Acupuncture addresses the symptoms as well as the underlying cause. Ear acupuncture
We use the NADA protocol in ear acupuncture. NADA stands for National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. NADA is used for insomnia, anxiety, cravings, detoxification and withdrawal symptoms from drugs, alcohol tobacco and psychiatric medication.
You do not need to make an appointment for ear acupuncture, just walk in for treatment.
One Space Acupuncture was founded by Maggie Bavington and Margre de Vries, both established practitioners here at Bodywise. They are both graduates from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, are registered members of the British Acupuncture Council and are bound by its code of ethics and safe practice.
